Options flow,without the noise.

Every big options trade, analysed as it prints. Our machine learning models read the flow and the stock behind it: gamma levels, open interest, news and how it's been trading. Then they tell you what stands out, and why.

Signal record

The best runs, on the record.

When premium and hedging flow on a name surge past anything from its last five sessions, our models fire a signal: the contract, the entry price and targets at the next gamma levels, all stamped the minute it happens. Every target hit is posted the moment it lands, so the record writes itself.

The record starts on 21 Sepand is rebuilt every night. Signals on 21 and 22 Sep came from the same rules run over each day's stored flow, before the scanner was posting them; from 23 Sep every signal was posted as it fired. Entry is the contract's price the minute the signal fired. Peak is the highest it traded after that while the signal was open, checked against the stock's own price at the time; it is not a realised return. Signals are held to expiry in this record, so same-day contracts that do not move expire worthless, and every one of those is counted. Past signals do not guarantee future results.

Last session

Yesterday's tape, in four lines.

Written from the close of Friday 25 September, straight from our own numbers, and rewritten every night after the bell.

  1. 01

MU 1000C 2 Oct: $38.0M, sold below the bid, 7 days out: the session's largest single-name print, 2 hours after a headline on the name. See it on the tape →

  2. 02

1,010 single-name prints over $200k across 165 names. 844 were verified against the tape's own fills as they landed; 166 were not, and say so on the row. How a print is checked →

  3. 03

889 prints followed a headline on their own name. AMD 1120C 17 Jun, $11.7M sold at the bid, landed 18 minutes after the story broke. See the linking →

Gamma levels

Ever wondered why it bounced there?

The turns your indicators miss often happen at a strike, not a moving average: the prices where dealers have to hedge the options they carry. Every name gets its gamma levels (call wall, put wall, hedge wall and the biggest nodes from its GEX), refreshed through the day and drawn under every print.

The Levels Map ranks every name by how close it sits to its nearest wall, so you see who is about to test one before it happens.

News, linked

Headline breaks. Size shows up. We connect the two.

Every headline is scored for the names it moves, and the trades that follow are tagged with the minutes in between. Earnings, Fed days, CPI and expiries tag the trades sized to run through them, so the why-now is already on the row when you open it.

The Calendar lists every dated catalyst with the flow already positioned into it, plus earnings with the move the options are pricing.

Flow flags

The trades worth a second look, and why.

Most big trades are noise. As the tape moves, our models flag the ones that are not and say why in plain English: the first print on a name in a month, the biggest ever logged on it, fresh size against open interest, a trade sitting right on a wall, positioning into earnings.

The reasons sit on the row, so you can judge a trade in seconds instead of digging for them.

What stood out

Overnight, the effective fed funds rate reset to 3.88% on 17 September from 3.63% the day before, confirming Wednesday's hike; Trump criticized the Fed's move but spared Chair Warsh from the blame. The BOJ raised rates to their highest level in 31 years overnight.

Open flow
  • META: Tue 15 Sep, $24.5M bought above the ask on the 670C 21 Jan 28 in 3 prints, opening (1,642 contracts), still open, OI 731 at the print to 1,963 now.
  • TSLA: Mon 14 Sep, $21.6M bought at the ask on the 290P 17 Jun 27, opening (10,000 contracts), still open, OI 3,834 to 13,962 now.
What to watch
  • AMD: third straight up day, 520.00 call wall reclaimed and holding, 550.00 still capping the top. Watch whether the still-open 520C position gets added to on a push through 550.00.
  • NVDA: capped twice at the 220.00 call wall despite the Huang headline and $28.8M of net buying late in the day.
Every figure in the prose is checked against the day's own tape and map before it publishes.

Questions

Before you take a seat.

The five questions people ask first.

How does a signal fire?

Our models watch two things on every name, minute by minute: the options premium coming in and the hedging flow it forces, each against that name's own last five sessions. When one surges, a starter signal goes in with the contract, the entry price and targets at the next gamma levels. When the other follows, it is confirmed. Every target hit and the close are posted as they happen.

How is the signal record worked out?

Entry is the contract's price the minute the signal fired. Peak is the highest it traded while the signal was open. The result is where the signal closed, which for a same-day contract is its last trade at the bell. Every signal counts in the figures, the ones that expired worthless too, and the record is rebuilt every night.

What does “confirmed” mean on Flow Watch?

Open interest the next morning rose by at least half the size that was bought, so the position really opened. From then on we follow it every session until it is trimmed or closed out.

Where does the data come from, and what if a source stalls?

Institutional options tape and dealer positioning, a headline wire and an economic calendar, through our own subscriptions. If a feed drops, the tape shows the time of its last print and gamma levels keep the last map with its date; briefs, calendar and news keep working.

Does it work on my phone?

It is built at phone width first: it installs from the browser on iPhone and Android and runs full-screen from your home screen. Alerts show in the app; push and email come later. Nothing here connects to a broker or places an order.
